Our Scripture Sources

The Words We Share

Our annual Scripture collection uses the World English Bible, Protestant Edition (WEBP), published by eBible.org. Each passage identifies its Bible reference and links to its surrounding chapter.

Bible Edition

WEBP uses American English spelling, the names LORD or GOD in place of God's proper name in the Old Testament, and the 66-book Protestant canon. It is a specific edition of the World English Bible, not a label for every English Bible translation.

Public Domain Text

The World English Bible text is in the public domain. Our annual passages were checked against an official WEBP source snapshot. The World English Bible name is a trademark; our blessing and prayer texts are not presented as quotations from that Bible.

Scripture and Devotional Words

A blessing or guided prayer is devotional writing, not Scripture and not a personal message or guaranteed outcome from God. Read Scripture in its chapter context and seek guidance from your own faith community when helpful.

Older and Saved Passages

Some older passages and saved moments do not have verified edition metadata. They are marked "Translation not recorded" rather than being attributed to WEBP without evidence. Publication does not mean that every devotional text has received professional theological review.
